Book Summary

One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love

Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what happens in Vegas staying there.

Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.

Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

My Thoughts

Accidentally Married on Purpose by Rachel Harris is the third Love and Games novel. Although this book is part of a series, it could be read as a standalone. Yet, I doubt you would want to miss out on one moment of the fun and excitement provided by the Robicheaux family. From the moment Colby Robicheaux and Jason Landry were reacquainted  in book 1 to the fake engagement of Angelle Prejean & Cane Robicheaux in book 2 to Sherry Robicheaux and Tyler Blue’s oops I don’t know how that happened in Accidentally Married on Purpose the humor, heartfelt moments, and surprises just never stopped. And although, the romance is closed door, these stories will keep you wondering just what happened. I mean, clothes strewn across the floor and a wedding ring from a wild night that can’t be remembered. Just when I thought that the series couldn't get better, Harris presented Tyler and Sherry’s amazing, hilarious & emotional journey.

In Accidentally Married on Purpose, the focus has shifted to Sherry’s life. It began as she was catering an event in Vegas for Tyler Blue, a famous country music star, and his entourage. Well things got a little out of control in Vegas. And she found herself—as the title suggests—accidentally married.

In this third Love and Games novel, we are privy to a different side of Sherry. In the past, she was on the sidelines. She had previously been depicted as outspoken and was known as the life of the party. In book three she was on an emotional roller-coaster, she definitely had insecurities and had never been so vulnerable to being hurt.

As for Tyler, he’s a nice addition to the series. He struggled with the right course of action and his new found feelings for Sherry. At times he was charming and at other times he was irritating as he pushed her away. He was just so conflicted. His dream had always been to be a musician, and he’d accomplished that. So he wrestled with whether love could also be part of the equation.

For the most part, their chemistry was great and they engaged in funny banter. However, their time together was not without those tear-jerking moments as they were confused about their relationship and the correct path to take. Although their marriage happened too quickly, it was apparent that there was an emotional connection as they spent time together and learned more about each other. The story simply contained the perfect elements for a true love story.

I would definitely recommend this contemporary romance novel and the Love and Games series. Accidentally Married on Purpose can be pre-ordered for $.99. I’m certain that this deal won't be around for long, because this is one worthy story. So get the tissues ready and prepare for an emotional whirlwind as you read the story of Sherry Robicheaux & Tyler Blue. Their story is a simple reminder that what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas, but it could be a great place to get started!

Rating 5/5

I received an E-ARC from InkSlnger PR in exchange for an honest review.
