Bielman did a great job of capturing issues that affect individuals as they seek their independence and place in society/the workplace. For Kagan and Shane, their journey entailed overcoming some issues from their past. Kagan just wanted the freedom to decide her fate. There was great chemistry between Kagan and Shane; however, the past that was following her led to conflicts about what path she should take. Shane is an absolutely lovable hero who is afraid to fall in love, but is willing to take on the role of “her accidental boyfriend.”  The story took on a serious tone as Shane & Kagan dealt with people and events from their past. However, amidst the seriousness, there were lighthearted and heartwarming moments along the way as they struggled with maintaining their ruse versus falling for each other.   If you’re looking for a fast paced contemporary romance novel with well-developed characters and an engaging storyline, Her Accidental Boyfriend is the perfect book to start your week.   Rating   4.5/5   I received an e-arc of Her Accidental Boyfriend from the publisher in exchange for an honest review, thank you.
