And when she needs someone tall, dark, and undaunted to keep her safe, Zion intends to be there—now and always. My Thoughts Undaunted by Ronnie Douglas is a sweet, smexy, and entertaining read. The characters were well-developed, and I loved how many of the characters experienced growth by the end. There was a love triangle in which Aubrey was pursued by Zion and his cousin. Although Aubrey seemed confused about what she wanted at first, her indecisiveness was understandable since she wasn’t seeking a committed relationship. Douglas presented both the rugged and sensitive side of Zion, and I loved the fact that he was willing to give up so much to win Aubrey over. For Aubrey, some of the situations in her life—including those involving her parents—were so out of control that she organized her life into a neat and tidy plan. But Zion came about and then…Well, you won’t want to miss how everything plays out as Aubrey deviates from the plan. Even as I argued with my own perception, I could tell that he was near my age, fit, and held himself with the kind of restrained energy that made sane girls look away and unhappy girls want to step a bit closer.
