Carrying the Lost Heir's Child is the dramatic conclusion to the Barrington Trilogy. It’s Lily and Nash’s story that can be read as a standalone. In this installment, it’s revealed that Lily is pregnant and Nash—well he’s just full of lies and at the center of a scandal. Lily’s pregnancy gave both Nash and Lily a reality check. As such, the tension between them intensified as they struggled with their emotions and had some tough decisions to make. The Barrington Trilogy has been one of my favorite series. It was a trilogy in which each book had a catchy beginning and real-world characters that were easy to connect with. I just can’t wait to find out what Bennett has in store for readers in The Fireman’s Ready Made Family. My Thoughts

Single Man Meets Single Mom by Jules Bennett is a fantabulous addition to the Billionaires and Babies Series. If you've read Bennett’s When Opposites Attract, you’ll be familiar with Cassie Barrington. She’s a single mother, horse trainer, and the sister of Tessa, a jockey.  Now, she has a story of her own.

I absolutely loved the realistic characters and storyline presented. Cassie is a curvy real world heroine with real-life problems. So as you can imagine, there was drama and well-developed conflicts related to her role as a single parent. She struggled with self-esteem issues and was hesitant to date. I was captivated by the story from the moment she dropped into Ian’s life. I just loved the fact that Ian viewed her curves as an asset. Ian was suave and knew how to deal with almost every situation when he wasn't throwing a personal pity party.  I particularly enjoyed his interactions with her ex-husband when he made an appearance on the scene. Although his past left him conflicted about getting involved in a relationship with a single mother, his actions are sure to leave a smile on your face.

You definitely won’t want to miss Ian and Cassie’s story as they struggle with their electrifying chemistry.

“Now his hands came up, framed her face and sent an insane amount of electrical charges coursing through her” (p. 86).

ARC Review: When Opposites Attract by Jules Bennett

My Thoughts When Opposites Attract by Jules Bennett is another fun contemporary romance novel filled with witty characters. I've read a few of her books and they always keep me smiling. The characters interactions are just so entertaining. I am intrigued by the city boy meets the country girl theme in which the country girl has preconceived notions that a man from Hollywood or the city is simply a heartbreaker. Then there’s the quest for the city boy to prove the country girl wrong. The overall concept results in a romance novel that just gives you a warm cuddly feeling and puts a smile on your face. In When opposites Attract, we are introduced to Grant, a Hollywood producer who is making a movie about Tessa Barrington's family. He’s a city boy. And then you have the uptight Tessa Barrington of Virginia who follows a tight schedule. This contemporary novel was perfect from page one until the end. I loved how Grant is mesmerized by her curves and how he was intent on breaking through her defensive wall. And I like the fact that the heroines depicted in Bennett’s books have colorful personalities. Tessa’s uptight character was simply perfect. Her interactions with Grant were amusing as she fought giving into temptation. As for Grant, at times his behavior was less than stellar as he dealt with an inner conflict related to issues from his past, but he remained a likeable character. I would definitely recommend When Opposites Attract to fans of contemporary romance novels. It is a quick read that’s sure to leave a smile on your face.
